Cat Toy

This simple cat toy is super-easy to crochet. I recently made one for my 14-year-old granddaughter to use with her three cats, and she was delighted. She actually broke a smile when she saw it. The kitties were interested, too, as she pulled it across the floor, and especially liked watching it jump around across the rug. The pattern requires just a small amount of yard, so you can use up some of your remnants.
materials
●H crochet hook
●worsted weight/4-ply yarn
●yarn needle for weaving in ends
directions
Chain 5, join with slip stitch to first chain to form ring.
Chain 8, slip stitch in 2nd chain from hook and in each of the next 6 chains.
*Single crochet in ring, chain 8 slip stitches in 2nd chain from hook and in each of the next 6 chains. Repeat from * 6 times more.
Join with slip stitch to first chain of the first chain 8, and chain 100.
Fasten off, weave in ends.
