This is a great way to combine a cooking lesson with play time. The dough is especially fun to knead, because it is as soft as a baby’s butt! This recipe makes a lot of dough. Cut it in half if you’d like less. And, if anyone gets hungry, it’s vegan!
2 cups water
1-2 tsp. food coloring
Mix in heavy Dutch oven.
2 cups flour
1 cup salt
4 tsp. cream of tartar
2 Tbl. vegetable oil
Add and mix well.
Cook over medium heat until it sticks together in a ball. Remove and knead.
