Roasted String Beans
From the recipe box of travel writer Carole Terwilliger Meyers.
I serve these at room temperature. I think they taste even better as leftovers, cold from the refrigerator.
1 pound green string beans, trimmed.
Place on a cookie sheet in a single layer.
olive oil, drizzle on
salt and pepper
425 degrees, 25 minutes (or until they start showing some dark, roasted spots).
