Recipes Using Fresh Snow

From the recipe box of travel writer Carole Terwilliger Meyers.

The main ingredient for these frozen delights literally usually falls right in your lap.  Sometimes right in your yard.  Keep these recipes handy for quick reference the next time you find yourself in a snowstorm.  Most of the supporting ingredients will usually be on hand in your kitchen.  You’ll just need to send the kids out to collect the fresh snow.  I’ve included an easy recipe for adults for a Snow Black Russian.  You can also substitute snow for crushed ice in other frozen cocktails you enjoy, perhaps a Daiquiri or Pina Colada.
